You will have 7 days to download the file, after which you will no longer have permission to download that file. In the event there is a problem with the download, or a network issue, you have permission to download the file 3 times. If you have any problem please do not hesitate to contact us.

Handling the Downloaded ".zip" File

All deck plan files and images are compressed into a .zip file to simplify downloading, and minimize storage requirements and download times. Once you download the compressed .zip file, you will need to unzip it using a compression utility like WinZip or 7-zip.

Once you install WinZip, or 7-zip, all you need to do is right-click on the .zip file and select 'Extract Here' from the menu and the files will be extracted to the current directory.

DIY Deck Plan File Format

The images are standard .jpg files, visible on almost any computer, and you can view the .pdf plans using the free Adobe reader software commonly available on most computers. If you do not have Adobe Reader, it's available for free from Adobe.
